    From the United States to Canada to Europe, Cindy Ashton is on a campaign to entertain the world, Cabaret style, while uplifting and inspiring audiences to live their red carpet dream and raising money and awareness for local charities that support children and youth. Cindy has chosen Living Advantage as the Los Angeles non-profit that will benefit from and kickoff her tour in honor of their dedicated support of inner city foster youth.

    Living Advantage, Inc. has decided to begin this Mini Concert Campaign in order to inspire and educate people about key issues affecting our communities today, specifically youth living in foster care. They plan to support foster youth by raising money and bringing awareness to sponsors through live entertainment, live online video streaming and social media. Pamela Clay, executive director of Living Advantage, stated, "We are giving the community methods to invest in foster youth who do not have their mothers or fathers' support. We are raising funds to support our program that helps youth transition from the foster care system into adulthood. Living Advantage, Inc. is in need of updated technology, accessories and staff to carry out our services. Our goal is to raise $250,000 for this year and we are confident that we can depend on you to invest in the lives of our youth."

    Verizon's support to Living Advantage's Foster Youth Educational Plan within the USC Family of Schools is instrumental in Living Advantage's ability to utilize technology that support foster youth. Their collaboration with several USC departments and Manual Arts High School will introduce the Thinkfinity.org program to the students. They will be at the mini concert series to give support, showcase new products and pass our giveaways.

    Grammy Award and American Music Award winner, Jeanette Hawes from the hit group, The Emotions will be making a guest appearance. Their multi-platinum recordings made in the late 70's and 80's, are still enjoyed in the twenty first century throughout the world still being played and sold in the radio and internet. "Best of My Love", "Boogie Wonderland", "I Don't Wanna Loose Your Love", "Don't Ask My Neighbor" "Let's Groove Tonight" have been heard in films and commercials often.

    Living Advantage will hold their first mini concert on Saturday, August 21st at 4pm at Manual Arts High School in the Toiler's Gymnasium.

    About Cindy Ashton
    Completing an Honors Bachelor's degree in Music and Kinesiology from York University, Cindy is the consummate entertainer having studied singing, dancing & acting intensely with Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, Second City, Livent of Canada, Royal Conservatory of Music & Toronto Dance Theatre.

    Cindy is the recipient of President Obama's "Call to Service" award for providing outstanding service to her community.
    About the University of Southern California Joint Educational Project Founded in 1972, JEP is one of the oldest and largest service-learning programs in the country, offering students at the University of Southern California the unique opportunity to combine academic coursework with experiences in the community surrounding the campus.
