First-time Screenwriter and U.S. Navy vet Kenneth Shelden has optioned his screenplay The Playwright with production company iLine Entertainment.
(1888PressRelease) April 06, 2007 - Screenwriter Kenneth Shelden has optioned his first script with production company iLine Entertainment.
iLine discovered Kenneth when his script The Playwright was chosen as a Top 10 Finalist in the Script Savvy Screenplay Competition. As a sponsor of the contest, iLine received a recommendation to read Kenneth's script. They did and a match was made.
The Playwright is an unsettling, intelligent thriller about an agoraphobic writer who finds himself trapped inside his apartment and possibly losing his mind.
Writer Shelden attributes his inspiration to dreams in which characters come to him with whole plots and storylines.
Shelden has been in the U. S. Navy for 3 1/2 years and plans to continue to make time to write while serving his country.
