  • (1888PressRelease) February 06, 2012 - Chicago, Illinois - The Chicago police officer Mike Russow put on a show for the native land crowd and defeated grappling star Jon Olav Enemo via unanimous decision this Saturday night (Jan. 28, 2012).

    The UFC pro & team member of sports supplement - Ninja, Mike Russow was cheered on by the native fans at the United Center on Saturday night as he came down to the ring out to fight Jon-Olav Einemo.

    In the opening round of the fight Russow push forward in order to secure a takedown. Einemo gave him few strikes but Russow controlled the action throughout the round.

    In second round Russow got a takedown and able to kept Einemo on the mat for the majority of the round. Einemo was exhausted after the second round and was not capable to take advantage of on some of the power shots he landed on Russow.

    In the third round Russow was able to avoid the submission attempts by grappling expert Einemo and also survive to some big shots by the Golden Glory fighter.
    The cheers from the fans at United Center were even louder after Russow declared as winner of the fight.

    Russow said "It was a dream comes true. I cannot express my emotions. I've been thinking of fighting in the UFC in my hometown my entire life, just to have my friends and family shouting my name".

    With this win, Russow remains undefeated in the UFC, with a 4-0 record.

    The win perhaps won't take Russow's ranking up but he did adequate to succeed and should face some higher level talent for his next bout.
