  • (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2022 - TTB today announced the release of its new product ‘TTB Antivirus’. The security product is expected to be released around the end of this month, tentatively. The new release is powered by micro-virtualization and intelligent threat detection capabilities which according to the team gives it an edge over the competitors. The team released a beta version meant for testing by select researchers and computer security experts.

The new product marks a significant shift in the way conventional methods are being used to protect computers and devices against viruses and similar attacks. TTB scans for malicious files and codes that can affect your system. It then runs the quarantine and secure shredding operation to discard and remove the affected files.

The team at TTB compares the release to medicine that forms a protective shield when fighting diseases and secures your body from further damage. While TTB is active, a protective layer remains to allow the software to effectively resist any attempts of virus and malware attacks. During this time, whenever someone tries to make unwise changes to the settings, download, and execute some malicious software on your computer, you are alerted immediately, while the harmful files are quarantined.

The team while speaking to the reporters went on to highlight some features of the new product. Real-time Scanning & Protection provides both malware detection and blocking features. Where other security software fail to detect adversaries and malicious file execution, TTB Antivirus maintains a protective security ecosystem to keep your systems clean. Furthermore, the software also facilitates a scalable, centralized, and remote device control and management service.

“We at TTB are in a unique position to introduce a combined approach (micro-virtualization and reputation/signature-based detection) in the market. And the credit for this goes to our developing team who’s been continuously working on it for the past two years,” said Dhanwant Singh, Co-director, Product Management. “I don’t think other vendors have the kind of approach that’s even close to ours. Our product embraces both the traditional security measures and reputation/signature-based tracking to make itself even more effective,” Mr. Singh added.

The reputation-based malware detection tasks are taken care of by an Advanced Monitoring System, that blocks any behaviour that’s previously been marked as spam/malicious. It then reports this event in detail to the central Artificial Intelligence systems, usually at the developer end. Similar and already reported file/process behaviors are then continuously monitored. In this process, if the system again detects harmful/malicious behavior, it will immediately remove the file and restore the system back to a safe state.

“TTB Antivirus is our venture into the smaller yet crucial computer security paradigm. Though we have, earlier, introduced products such as TTB Total Security and TTB Internet Security, the new release will help us expand our reach further,” concludes Fateh Chahal, Director, TTB Internet Security.

TTB Antivirus, when released will be available for purchase through the official website http://ttbinternetsecurity.com/ttb-antivirus.
