  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 18, 2013 - The notoriously private Michael Hardaway wasn't available for comment, but the former Obama fundraiser is expected to help the fund boost its mid-atlantic fundraising activities and strengthen its relationships with high-profile professional athletes and celebrities.

    With support from Dow, Coca-Cola and Standard Chartered, Acumen recently hosted the Technical Assistance (TA) Initiative Summit in Nairobi, Kenya. The Summit brought together 10 social enterprises in Acumen's portfolio from across East and West Africa. They were joined by Dow, Coca-Cola, Standard Chartered and several other leading corporations.
