Michael Greenspan will direct Adrien Brody in thriller film THE AMERICAN WAY
Adrien Brody and Michael Greenspan reunite for dark amafia thriller set in New York City.
- (1888PressRelease) June 23, 2021 - After the thriller "WRECKED" director Michael Greenspan will again direct Adrien Brody in the dark and venomous mob thriller "THE AMERICAN WAY."
Suffering from amnesia and struggling with repressed memories, a law school student engages in a dangerous proceeding against mobsters,
putting her own life and her family's in jeopardy.
The cast will include Brody, Charlotte Ayanna for the female lead and Robert Miano. Kim Basinger is also being considered for the role of a manipulative psychiatrist.
Filming is expected to begin in New York City in the Fall of 2021. Rhett Industries LLC is producing and Buffalo 8 is executive producing.
The film was written by screenwriter and author Jordan Tate, who wrote the recent Doctor Stevens and the novel "White Gold", and wrote the role especially for Brody after seeing him in Houdini.
