    About the CINTAS Foundation
The CINTAS Fellowship Program encourages creative development in architecture, literature, music composition and the visual arts. The Foundation was established with funds from the estate of Oscar B. Cintas (1887-1957), former Cuban ambassador to the United States, a prominent industrialist and patron of the arts. The Brandon Fradd Fellowship in Music Composition, established in 2006, was endowed by Brandon Fradd of New York City for the benefit of the winner of the music composition award. Fradd, a managing director of Apollo Medical Partners, earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Princeton University, a graduate degree from New College of Oxford University and graduated from Harvard Medical School. He grew up in Miami among Cuban friends from whom he learned Spanish and developed an interest in Cuban music. www.cintasfoundation.org
