  • (1888PressRelease) March 15, 2012 - This article is out there in the World Wide Web to let the people who are crawling around this mammoth net know that the website, MexicoCityVibes.com, is officially live.

    The Idea of the Site

MexicoCityVibes.com is essentially a travel guide. The author (me!) is currently living in Mexico City and so is regularly updating the website with his findings. He hopes to investigate every nook and cranny in order to create a resource of useful information that isn't just directed at tourists, but at everyday human beings who want to visit, live and experience the vibrant culture of Mexico City. It will be an on growing project, hopefully incorporating as much community interaction as possible. The aim is for users who visit the site sharing their knowledge and experiences to create a complete, balanced view and guide of the city.

    About the Author

I first came to Mexico City at the tender age of 12. I was visiting a Mexican friend who went to school with me back in the UK. The city left a lasting impression, similar to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet. Great food, friendly people and a vibrant metropolis brought me back, not forgetting the stunning backdrop of volcanoes. However, this time there is a twist to my travels. I am in Mexico City with the primary purpose of starting my professional boxing career...

    What's included on the Site

The website is of course in progress but I hope to cover:
    • Life in Mexico City
    • Tourist Attractions, from cheap and subtle to lavish and exuberant
    • Guide to all the Neighbourhoods
    • History
    • Food, Restaurants, Street food etc. Will even throw in a few recipes
    • Travel Information
    • Art, a personal passion so has to be included
    • Anything that my visitors suggest!

The site has just been launched and it is a work in progress but I would greatly appreciate the public's involvement in creating the most in-depth and definitive guide to Mexico City!

    Presenting, MexicoCityVibes.com
