  • (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2013 - DURANGO, Colo. -- Mercury®, a leading provider of payment processing and revenue generating solutions, added Brett Narlinger, a former Bank of America Merchant Services and First Data executive, to head up its sales team. The company also added Pattie Money as senior vice president of human resources. Money previously spent 13 years at Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc., where she helped lead the organization through high growth and a successful public offering.

Narlinger brings 22 years of payments-focused sales and operational leadership to Mercury. He was most recently executive vice president of Bank of America Merchant Services, a division he helped found and grew to become the largest merchant acquirer in the United States. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with First Data as a senior vice president, overseeing all enterprise and national portfolio accounts.

"I've been fortunate enough to work for two industry-changing companies and Mercury's vision and reputation for world-class service and simple payments integrations is inspiring," said Narlinger. "I'm thrilled to join the team and help expand sales into new markets that will bring value added services that empower local businesses."

Pattie Money will oversee Mercury's organizational growth and development as the company continues its rapid ascent as one of the fastest-growing payment processors in the industry. During her tenure at Monotype Imaging Holdings, she managed the company's long-term growth initiatives, while the company delivered significant levels of profitability and cash flow. She led Monotype through several U.S. and global acquisitions and was part of the IPO team that led the company to a successful public offering in 2007.

The Nilson Report ranked Mercury as the sixteenth largest merchant acquirer in the United States in 2012. Just four years ago, Mercury ranked 26 on that same list.

"We are very excited to have Pattie and Brett join the executive team," said Matt Taylor, CEO of Mercury. "Their broad breadth of professional experience and proven success in building relationships in their respective positions make them tremendous assets to Mercury."
