This 1904 Meissen antiques catalogue offers collectors a rare glimpse into European porcelain of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

All printed material issued by the "Koeniglich Sachsische Porzellen -Manufactur in Meissen" in the last century is scarce, but the rarest and most deluxe of these publications is the hardbound large-format 1904 catalogue printed in a single edition for issue directly to the most important Meissen distributors in major European cities. This was a time of prosperity in Europe at which Meissen porcelain aimed to expand its production, and the publication of this very deluxe trade catalogue was presumably one of its first initiatives toward these ends. Issued in an edition of just a few hundred copies, original examples of this catalogue are practically unobtainable; however the Amis Des Artistes' ebook provides a digital version of the complete catalogue in its original format.
