The 2011 inductees were revealed at the Oct. 4 Academy of Women Kickoff, which was held at the Governor's Mansion. McFarlane and this year's inductees were introduced to current Academy members, YWCA board members, community leaders and friends of the YWCA in advance of the Academy of Women Awards, the oldest and most prestigious awards program recognizing women for their service to the community.
