  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2019 - Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix) announced that Menachem (Chemmie) Sokolic has joined the company as Technical Director of Due Diligence Services, supporting the continued expansion of the company’s Site Remediation services. Mr. Sokolic will oversee the technical staff and assist in work development from new and existing clients.

    A recognized expert and frequent lecturer, Mr. Sokolic has authored several articles on the topic of real estate due diligence for the private and public sectors. He has dedicated the majority of his nearly 20 years of environmental consulting experience to an array of due diligence services. A recognized leader in the field, he has managed more than 1,000 due diligence assessments, conducted at smaller residential and retail properties, large portfolio projects, and more complex industrial, commercial, and manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S.

    Mr. Sokolic is a member of the ASTM E50 Committee and E1527 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Task Group and is assisting in the preparation of the revised E1527 Phase I ESA Standard. His educational accomplishments include an M.S. in Environmental Management & Water Resources from Montclair State University, and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Kingston Upon Thames University in London. He is currently working on expanding his expertise through an M.B.A. program with a concentration in Real Estate at Rutgers University.

    Mr. Sokolic assists clients with real estate due diligence needs, for leasing, purchasing, investing, selling, refinancing, developing, renovating, expanding, or operating a facility or property. He works closely with attorneys and other real estate professionals during each stage of a real estate transaction and takes pride in conducting a thorough risk analysis for his clients.
