  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2020 - Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix) today announced unprecedented growth and continued strategic expansion in its Arizona (AZ) market. Within the last six months, Matrix increased its engineering and scientist staff in AZ by nearly 25% and added an office in Tucson, AZ to complement its already strong presence in Phoenix and Prescott. Continuing to build on its industry-respected groundwater modeling and site investigation and remediation expertise, this continued momentum in the Arizona market speaks to significant market opportunity and demand for the environmental and engineering services provided by Matrix.

“We experienced some incredible growth last year, and we are seeing strong growth opportunities in 2020 and beyond,” said Dennis Petrocelli, PG, Senior Vice President. "Now in our 30th year, Matrix experienced a more than 60% revenue growth in the past five years, a 36% growth of staff, and opened three new office locations – all done profitably and with an emphasis on the services that are most in demand. These services will continue to be needed in 2020 and beyond, and our Arizona locations are experiencing this need firsthand.”

Matrix continues to hire specialized engineering and scientific professionals to complement its already talented staff.

“In Arizona, Matrix continues to hire individuals who will further our growth in the site investigation and remediation and groundwater modeling areas,” added Petrocelli. “We plan a similar growth throughout all of our locations, continuing support for these and other multi-disciplinary initiatives, such as climate change resiliency efforts and private sector environmental clients.”

Recent hires to support the AZ growth and demand include:
