Margazhi is an online platform created to bring together the culturally conscious - by integrating information, news, views and updates related to the Performing Arts such as Indian Music & Dance. It is a sponsored initiative of Sarangi and started with coverage of the Margazhi festival 2011-12 in Chennai. Sarangi is a Chennai based brand that celebrates the spirit of the Kanjivaram with a range of saris that are elegant, beautiful and always special.

While the largest music festival, the Chennai Margazhi season extends from mid-November to mid-January, the city and its music lovers host concerts and mini-festivals right through the year. One such initiative to host chamber concerts is the brainchild of a group of music-lovers coming together under the banner of Oli Chamber Concerts to revisit the tradition of Chamber music which provides a very different ambience for both the performers and audience. With the guidance of Gowri Ramnarayan, the Oli team which includes Rithvik Raja is creating a calendar of such concerts for the entire year. Collaborating with Oli, Sarangi hosts the third chamber concert of this year at their premises. The next (fourth) Chamber concert by Oli will be presented by Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan on 17th March 2012.
