Executive Managing Director Gil Medina at the organization's 2012 Real Estate Award Cocktail Reception and Pynes Golf Challenge. The event is slated for Tuesday, June 5, at the US Golf Association (USGA) in Far Hills, N.J. from 5 to 8 p.m.

"Cushman & Wakefield has been a strong supporter of the March of Dimes for many years, and Gil Medina has long been an industry leader and a supporter of our mission," said Carol Roberts, director of special events for the March of Dimes North Jersey Division. "Because of that tremendous support, this honor is very much deserved."

"I am extremely proud to receive this award," said Medina, who is responsible for overall business operations for Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford, Morristown and Edison offices. "And, I can not think of a better cause than the March of Dimes."

The Real Estate Award Reception, which has been honoring industry leaders since 2000, is a testimonial that brings together more than 200 members of the New Jersey real estate industry. The Pynes Golf Challenge begins with competition among two-man teams toward the end of May, culminating in the final match on the afternoon of June 5 at the prestigious 16,000-square-foot Pynes Putting Course at the USGA Museum. The Real Estate Award Reception honoring Gil Medina will immediately follow, emceed this year by noted author, educator and broadcaster Steve Adubato.

"We are very much looking forward to this event, and I strongly encourage everyone to continue their support of the March of Dimes and its important mission," said Medina.
