  • (1888PressRelease) May 26, 2019 - The Province of Manitoba issued new 196 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada Permanent Residence in the latest Expression of Interest Draw held on 23rd May 2019. Out Of 196 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued, 119 went to candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream, 60 went to Skilled Workers Overseas candidates and 17 were issued through the International Education Stream to international graduates of Manitoba post-secondary institutions. Till date, Manitoba has issued 4320 invitations.

The Express Entry system manages the pool of applicants under its three economic migration programs namely the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade Program, and Canadian Experience Class. The successful nomination of the applicants will be rewarded an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points that will place the applicants in the favourable position to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residence.

The current Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw issued a total of 119 invitations under Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream to the applicants having the lowest-ranked score of 548. The other 60 invitations were given to Skilled Workers Overseas with the lowest rank score of 506 through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative and International Education Stream candidates received 17 LAA’s.

The International Education Stream targets international graduates of Manitoba institutions who meet the criteria of one of three pathways.

The eligible applicants willing to apply for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)must submit an EOI that asks a series of questions related to education, work experience, language skills and connections to the Manitoba. The MPNP assigns a score for the information given in EOI and the highest ranking applicant is then invited to apply through regular MPNP draws.

For further information related to MPNP and different PR programs, eligibility requirements, it is suggested to fill the Canada Immigration Assessment form to arrange a call back from the visa and immigration experts of Aptech Global.
