  • (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2010 - Houston - The world's leading agricultural tractor producer is pairing with one of the most famous anglers in the country as Mahindra USA has agreed to a three-year personal endorsement and sponsorship deal with championship fisherman Bill Dance, star of the popular "Bill Dance Outdoors" series on Versus and "Bill Dance Saltwater" series on the Outdoor Channel. The deal commences in January 2011 and includes sponsorship of the series and the accompanying web site, Billdanceoutdoors.com. For his part, Mr. Dance will be making personal appearances and testimonials on behalf of the tractor leader.

    From his home and production studio on Collierville, Tennessee, Dance oversees a fishing empire that includes his TV shows, tackle endorsements, how-to seminars, and a very popular web presence. "Bill Dance Outdoors" is one of the oldest, continuously running television shows of its type. It has aired since 1968 with a primary focus on sport fishing.

    Dance developed his love affair with fishing as a kid, wading Mulberry Creek in Lynchburg, Tennessee with his grandfather. Over the years, he has won numerous titles, including 23 National Bass Titles and three-time B.A.S.S. (Bass Anglers Sportsman Society) Angler of the Year. Dance retired from competition in 1980 at the age of 39, is credited with catching the first bass in B.A.S.S. history, and popularized the "Carolina Rig" for bass-fishing.
