  • (1888PressRelease) December 05, 2013 - Malcolm Strattford the technical adviser attended a meeting with the heads of the GGF Renewable Energy Group on Tuesday 3 December 2013 at the Arden Hotel, Solihull at 10.30 am.

Malcolm was invited to do a presentation on the much talked about Magic Thermodynamic Box companies products which includes the new Little Magic Box and the Magic Heating Box explaining how the products work and how they can benefit the GGF members as well as their customers.

The GGF is the main representative organisation for companies involved in all aspects of the manufacture of flat glass and products and services for all types of glazing, in commercial and domestic sectors. Members of the GGF include companies that manufacture and install energy efficient windows in homes and commercial buildings.

The performance glass used in every type of building from houses to high-rise tower blocks and the components that are used to manufacture every type of glazing. GGF members produce and install safety, fire and emergency glazing, special films to protect against the sun's rays or terrorist and vandal attacks and in fact, every type of glazing installation, no matter how specialised.

Due to an increasing number of GGF member companies diversifying into the installation of Solar PV or Solar Thermal systems the GGF set up the Solar Group in 2012. GGF member companies in the Solar Door Group meet quarterly at a central location in the Midlands to discuss the members' interests, concerns, vision and planning as well as emerging commercial and technical issues and standards. There is particular emphasis on matters which concern solar devices such as upcoming legislation, changes in FIT (Feed-in Tariffs), Renewable Heat Premium Payments (RHPP) and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
