LSS Life Safety Services names Chad Smith as its new Firestop Manager. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) October 04, 2013 - Louisville Ky - LSS Life Safety Services ® (LSS), a widely respected leader in passive fire protection inspection and repair, has welcomed Chad Smith as its new Firestop Manager. Chad comes to LSS with six years of firestopping experience, including firestopping estimates, sales, and management. Chad also has firsthand experience in installing firestop assemblies and systems.

Previously Chad worked for a Firestopping specialty contractor based in North Carolina. He held the position of Lead Estimator for New Commercial Construction, and was responsible for both North and South Carolina. Chad handled bidding and the securing of work, and at times served as the project manager for major contracts. He also worked closely with clients in order to develop lasting relationships, ensuring the use of his company for any future firestopping needs of their clients.

In talking about his new position at LSS, Chad stated, "I joined the LSS team because I wanted to jump in on the ground floor with a quickly growing firestopping division in a company recognized as an industry leader.
