  • (1888PressRelease) November 09, 2011 - RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL, a downtown Los Angeles-based marketing and advertising agency, recently added two new members to their team. Jordan Gray will act as a graphic design intern and will work with the team to develop and refine the aesthetic elements for their clients. Also on board is Alisha Waite, a recent L.A. transplant, who joins RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL to assist in the strategic and creative development of their 2012 marketing programs.

"RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL embodies a comprehensive team of strategists, consultants, writers and designers to help make us who we are," stated co-founder, Mark Quest. "With Jordan and Alisha working for us, they will get exposure into how a full-service integrated marketing and advertising agency runs. Jordan's experience in developing creative design concepts, identity assets, coupled with her knowledge of social media, branding and her creative mindset and strong conceptual abilities makes her a valuable asset to our agency and we're delighted to have her join our team."

"Likewise, Alisha brings a very strong background in advertising, research and communications. She will be incredibly instrumental for us moving forward into 2012 as we launch several new client marketing campaigns."

Jordan Gray is currently a full-time student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) where she is studying Graphic Design with a concentration in Branding. Her time spent at FIDM has helped her obtain the skills, knowledge and professionalism that she needs to work with a company like RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL. She will accompany the agency in many projects and work on the creative end to help establish and refine a visual identity for their current and prospective clients.

Alisha Waite received her BA in Communications from Brigham Young University where she focused on advertising campaign management. There she was able to work on several ad campaigns for food, credit and shipping companies through the universities Advertising Lab. Alisha also developed knowledge of sports marketing while interning for the NBA D-league Utah Flash. After graduating, she worked as a product messenger in the marketing department of a health supplement company where she was able to put into practice her research and writing abilities for online and print advertising mediums.

Founded by business partners, Mark Quest and Rainier de Ocampo, the agency offers traditional and new media marketing for minority and female-owned businesses. Areas of specialty for RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL include manufacturing, professional services, food/beverage, entertainment, sports and non-profit.

"RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL has offered me the invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in the industry I have been studying for the past few years," stated Gray.
"I knew right out of school that I wanted to work in a fresh and kinetic team environment, so to be given that experience while still in school is a priceless opportunity that I'm sure all ends of the team will benefit from. This agency has an innovative aesthetic with lots of fresh energy and a progressive way of thinking."

According to Waite, "I am very excited about the knowledge, skills and experience that I will receive with RAINDEO BEAUTIFUL. No doubt that what I learn from the agency will only serve to benefit me in my future career in advertising."
