  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) August 08, 2011 - The EEL Program, Encouragement and Empowerment of Leadership, will show youths between age 11 and 18 the importance of being encouraged and empowered in order to become leaders and trailblazers in society.

Keishorne Scott, executive director of the organization, said that this program is very essential.

"Today's youths are losing their empowerment because there is no one there to cheer them on and encourage them to keep moving forward," he said. "We are here because we have lives to touch, lives to change, lives to empower, and lives to create for those who want to live."

Scott believes that by implementing activities-driven programs focused on encouragement, empowerment, and leadership, youths can become more responsible and develop the necessary traits to become successful.

"By addressing current social issues such as peer pressure, self-esteem issues, misguidance, and the lack of role models, we know that we can empower and encourage our youth to leadership," Scott said.
