  • (1888PressRelease) April 05, 2012 - MIAMI - Farrell & Patel, Attorneys at Law, the St. Thomas University Young Alumni Association and Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour partnered with the Miami Children's Young Ambassadors (MCYA) to raise more than $35,000, including donations and pledges, to benefit the children and families at Miami Children's Hospital. Approximately 200 young professionals attended the Fashion Gives Back event featuring the latest collections for men and women from the shops of Tom Ford, Gucci and many more cutting-edge designers. The event also included a special drawing for items including tickets to a Miami Marlins game, a Gucci wallet, gold Kotur clutch and a Romero Britto sculpture.

Farrell & Patel, Attorneys at Law, has received national recognition for their ongoing work in providing legal counsel and garnering financial claims for lost revenue for businesses and individuals impacted by the April, 2010 BP oil spill throughout the Gulf region.

"While our entire firm has been working around the clock for many months providing support for victims of the worst environmental disaster in this country, we felt it imperative to take time to focus on families in need here in Miami," said Ricky Patel, a senior partner in the law firm. "We are quite proud of our connection to St. Thomas University and look for ways we can work together to help those struggling in our own community. This fashion event made for a great way to raise money for Miami's Children's Hospital."
