Local Businesses Invite Community Members to the Hudson Halloween Shop Hop Oct. 25

  • Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) October 07, 2014 - Three local businesses, Harvard Sweet Boutique, Dragonflies Boutique and Serendipity, are opening their doors to the community for the Hudson Halloween Shop Hop, a festive family-friendly event taking place in the heart of town on Main and South Streets. Each participating store is hosting a variety of complimentary "spooktacular" activities, refreshments and treats just in time for Halloween!

    The Hudson Halloween Shop Hop will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. and is completely free for community members. Event activities include:
    - First stop - Dragonflies Boutique at 83 Main St.: Decorate trick-or-treat bags while you enjoy refreshments and take 40 percent off one regular-priced item at Hudson's original doll and children's clothes store!
    - Second stop - Serendipity at 63 Main St.: Make "Boo-tiful" Halloween bracelets while you snack on ghoulish goodies and shop the store's scary sale! Serendipity offers handcrafted gifts and jewelry, featuring work from local artisans.
    - Third Stop - Harvard Sweet Boutique at 25 South St.: Come by for door prizes and refreshments plus decorate your own delicious Halloween-themed cookies! Harvard Sweet Boutique features all-natural gourmet treats and savories handmade with the finest quality ingredients.

    Residents can start the hop anytime during the event timeframe and make their way from shop to shop at their own pace. Donations will be graciously accepted throughout the event to support the Hudson Food Pantry. Halloween costumes for children and parents are encouraged, but not required.
