Levtech Consulting Deploys Microsoft Dynamics AX at Simba Toys
- (1888PressRelease) April 28, 2011 - Leading manufacturer and distributor of international toy and stationery brands, Simba Middle East has gone live with their ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX, in the Middle East. The renowned ERP solution was deployed over the last 6 months by leading Microsoft Dynamics partner, Levtech Consulting. The consulting firm engaged with Simba Middle East to study and automate processes across finance, supply chain, warehousing and sales, covering seven entities in the MENA region and India.
Based on Microsoft's Surestep project methodology, the project initially started with a set of process workshops which involved key operational members from Simba Toys, and senior consultants from Levtech Consulting. Based on the same, Levtech Consulting delivered a Functional Requirements Document (FRD) which detailed the processes and activities at Simba toys, thereby setting the tone for the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX. The project then went through a series of processes including configuration, design and development, pilot testing and user trainings to map the processes on to the ERP system and empower users to utilize the features within Microsoft Dynamics AX. In line with the initial project plan, Levtech Consulting was able to move Simba Middle East on to Microsoft Dynamics AX in less than 6 months of intense implementation activity.

Further to the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX at Simba Middle East, Levtech Consulting is currently working on creating an Apple iPad -based sales catalog solution, which integrates with Microsoft Dynamics AX for inventory levels and prices. Levtech Consulting is also deploying Targit BI to provide a flexible, dashboard-driven Decision Support System for Simba Toys.
