Millions of women and transgender people from around the world suffer with Endometriosis. And if you’re one of the 1 in 10 women suffering right now, you know that endometriosis attacks with no regard to social status, faith, or race, and it doesn’t care if you’re cross-gender or non-binary.

Endometriosis is not only about surviving the daily unrelenting pain of this ruthless disease, but more often than not it means multiple surgeries, depression, infertility and so much more. It is one of the most misunderstood, under-funded and under researched diseases of our time today… perhaps because it only affects a traditionally undeserved segment of the world’s population: women and transgender people.

They aim to change that with the feature documentary, “The Silent Enemy”.

The film will focus on a dozen women and transgender people in different stages of endometriosis from all over the world as they share their personal stories and experiences. How have their lives been affected by this disease? What are the stigmas attached to having this debilitating condition? Why do some of them feel so abandoned by the world medical community?

"The Silent Enemy" emotional journey will also include the scientific community, doctors and families as they will share with the audience what endometriosis really is, what’s being done to find a cure, and how we can help to change the lives of these millions of women suffering all around the world today.

More than 176 million women and transgender people suffer from endometriosis yet few people have heard of the treatment.

The film will be filmed in picturesque locations all over the U.K, Ireland, Scotland and New York and Toronto.
