  • (1888PressRelease) January 30, 2015 - At the BVE 2015 trade show, LEDIXIS will showcase EXALUX BRIKS. Bruno Lavolée, the company's founder and CEO, explains: "BRIKS is going to revolutionise the use for lighting instruments in a range of sectors, from broadcasting and films to photography. BRIKS is both smaller and brighter than our competitors' offerings."

BRIKS is an attractive solution in the field of modular lighting instruments and is covered by the EXALUX trademark; specialist company LEDIXIS has been distributing BRIKS since November 2014. BRIKS is suited to various uses in broadcasting, cinematography and photography.

LEDIXIS will showcase BRIKS at the BVE 2015 trade show, which is taking place at the EXCEL exhibition centre, in the Docklands district of London (UK), between 24 and 26 February of this year. The company will be on Stand R-18. LEDIXIS is keen to expand across Europe and, more particularly, is seeking to meet potential partners and distributors for the British market at the trade show.

BRIKS is based on a smart lighting platform combining the latest generation of LED luminescent sources with advanced processes for colorimetric, thermal and energy controls. EXALUX lighting instruments are built with high-quality components.

BRIKS are factory calibrated (Flux and CCT) to 500 lumens in order to guarantee enhanced colorimetric and photometric homogeneity, allowing users to have the right colour temperature and the right balance of the white. BRIKS units are small (90mm x 90mm x 15mm), compact, light (170g), and very powerful.

Bruno Lavolée, CEO of LEDIXIS, says: "BRIKS are very attractive also because they are customisable lighting devices. Besides, with EXALUX BRIKS, designing a customisable lighting instrument becomes child's play. To start with, users just need one BRIKS and one controller, and it is possible to connect up to 250 LED BRIKS with one controller to build small or medium-size lighting areas."

Innovation starts with LUXIFYTM, a lighting platform specially developed for modular lighting systems. Because all the electronics are integrated into an all-in-one module, LUXIFYTM is environmentally friendly and allows for better energy efficiency; it also provides improved connectivity and light constancy. A Bluetooth-connected device makes it possible to have wireless control of all BRIKS' features. Users can connect and run up to 20 LED BRIKS at full brightness (depending on the chosen diffuser).

"In case of breakage, you can replace the damaged unit without having to return the whole equipment to the factory. Your equipment will always be operational and you will never run out of light," points out Bruno Lavolée. "To reveal all the creative potential of our solution, play with the light!"

BRIKS is based on five fundamental principles that benefit the user: customisation; eco-efficiency; capacities for evolution; innovation in the use of the technology; and, finally, connectivity. The product's architecture can be adapted to various uses, giving professionals the possibility to create what is, ultimately, their own lighting device, in line with their specific needs, constraints and budgets.

The innovative solution developed by LEDIXIS also allows users to reduce the time dedicated to implementation and production, hence it ensures that users have more time to devote to what they care most about - creativity.
