    "A New Perspective" event series will highlight local artists, for an interactive experience exploring a cultural specialty and will allow guests to gather new insights and stimulate dialogue. The series will feature contemporary artists, art fair partners, and other local creatives to bring the arts to life for Le Méridien guests and the local community.

    "A New Perspective" event with Marcus Kreiss, Artist, LM100TM member and Founder of the TV channel 'Souvenir From Earth' takes place on 02nd November 2010 at Le Méridien Bangkok. Marcus Kreiss will provide guests with a new perspective on Television, "Art vs. Television = Creation vs. Conformism".

    Born in 1961 in Hamburg, Germany Marcus Kreiss studied filmmaking in Rome (Cinecitta) and Fine Arts in Aix-en-Provence before creating art for urban spaces, working as a painter and VJing at international festivals. In 2006 he began to build a television channel, starting on local cable TV networks in Germany under the name of SOUVENIRS FROM EARTH. Marcus' work is represented in major art collections including those of Deutsche Bank, Fnac (France's government collection), and the Yvon Lambert Collection in Avignon.
