  • (1888PressRelease) August 11, 2011 - Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Lost Boys International (LBi), a leading marketing and technology agency, today announced the launch of its CSR initiative 'The Spirit of Ramadan', which will be carried out via social media channels during the month of August. With clients such as Etihad Airways, Yas Island, New York University Abu Dhabi and TDIC, LBi has firmly set growing roots in the Middle East region and intends to honour its core operating values by giving back to the community in which it operates.

'The Spirit of Ramadan' is aimed at creating awareness around the traditions that underpin this holy time of year by promoting informative conversations about Ramadan through the eyes of two LBi colleagues. The public are encouraged to take part in the campaign through social media channels - For each 'like', retweet, or Google +1, the 'Spirit of Ramadan' site will contribute 1 AED to the Bait al Khair Society.

"The UAE is home to a rare geographic beauty, enriched by the ancient traditions of a variety of cultures. Each of us living in the region is surrounded by daily rituals and customs that expatriates often may not understand the significance of, or have not had the opportunity to learn about. The 'Spirit of Ramadan' campaign has been developed in order to create awareness around one of the most important of these which affects all of us: Ramadan" said Amy McFarling, Managing Director (MENA), LBi. "As a large part of the Ramadan tradition is to give to charity and provide to those less fortunate, LBi has set a goal of 20,000AED to donate toward charity."

The campaign will be carried out via the ( @ ) LBiMENA twitter feed and on www.LBicares.com.
