  • (1888PressRelease) October 11, 2016 - Debut EP from Baron Goodlove and The Dreadful Noise.

A blues-influenced pop-rock collaboration featuring talent described by critics as "lush, subversive and with slow-burning class"* is poised to launch a debut EP.

Baron Goodlove and The Dreadful Noise, characterised by musiccrowns.org as "a little different to a lot of what's in the mainstream at the moment", will host a launch party for Come What May on November 25. The event is being staged at Hertford House, in Hertford, Hertfordshire, at 8.30pm.

Come What May promises original, well-crafted pop songs delivered with a raw energy and refreshingly proficient instrumental ability. The EP features a deep and soulful blues baritone vocal that extends to soaring highs and husky lows. Come What May will also offer plenty of catchy riffs and hooks.

Single My Love, which is featured on the EP, is being released ahead of Come What May - on October 21.

Baron Goodlove (Joe Nesbitt-Larking) was weaned on jazz and rhythm and blues by his father and grandmother, instilling a keen interest in music from a very young age. He is now recognised as a singer/songwriter with "real talent and creativity" (trickle.com). His soulful songwriting has a heavy blues influence, complemented by smooth yet powerful vocals that convey every emotion.

Having cut his teeth at jams and open-mics, Baron Goodlove is a seasoned performer with almost a decade of live music experience. The Dreadful Noise - comprising John Denzil Dines, Phil Haines and Tom Payne - have equal experience, both on the stage and as session musicians in the studio.

Come What May was recorded at Cream Room Studios, Dane End, and is being released independently. The EP will be available to download from iTunes with physical copies on sale exclusively at live performances.
