Laeken International Creates UK-based Fixed Income Team
Laeken International, an international commodity futures brokerage firm for thirty years, servicing global clients, has announced today the completion of the United Kingdom based Fixed Income Brokerage Team which will focus on the emerging Markets of UK and Europe.
- (1888PressRelease) July 06, 2011 - The UK based Fixed Income Team will be the counterpart of the firm's US Fixed Income Team. The new London-based Fixed Income Team will be locally led by a veteran trader Mr. Harold Mclean. He will directly report to Mr. Alexander Morris, the Managing Director of Laeken International Global Emerging Markets.
The creation of the London-based Fixed Income Team is one of the many actions of Laeken International initiative of completing its Global Fixed Income Group. Laeken International Global Fixed Income Group was launched in 2008. Since then, the group has now more than a hundred employees and concentrates on trading and sales of credit products across the full credit continuum, related structured products as well as emerging markets.
Mr. Harold Mclean joined Laeken International as Head of the Australian Emerging Markets Fixed Income Team before he accepted the same job but this time focused on the trading needs of European clients. Mclean has more than 15 years of fixed income experience. Prior to joining Laeken International in 2002, he worked as a Director of an Institutional Fixed Income Sales Desk in one of the fast growing commodity futures firms in London. Mclean also worked as a sales team manager for emerging markets of internationally recognized financial institutions in United States for four years. With his emerging markets trading experience, Mclean brought a number of profound relationships with devoted emerging markets accounts.
