LA84 Foundation Hires Anne-Marie Jones and Jeremy Rosenberg as Vice Presidents

  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) October 06, 2016 - The LA84 Foundation, a legacy of the 1984 Olympic Games, is pleased to announce new hires to the non-profit organization's executive team.

    Beginning today, Anne-Marie Jones joins the LA84 Foundation as Vice President of Grants & Programs. Jones will oversee all LA84 Foundation grant-making functions and staff members, and is responsible for the implementation of community programs throughout Southern California. Since its founding following the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, the LA84 Foundation has made grants totaling approximately $230 million across fifty different youth sports, benefitting three million kids in eight area counties.

    For the past several years, Jones has consulted in the non-profit and philanthropic sector. She previously was director of the Center for Healthy Communities at The California Endowment. She is currently a member of the Nonprofit Centers Network and Southern California Blacks in Philanthropy, and a founding member of Angelenos for Los Angeles Giving Circle, a donor-advised fund at the Liberty Hill Foundation.

    Jeremy Rosenberg recently joined the LA84 Foundation as Vice President, Marketing & Communications. Rosenberg oversees the organization's public engagement and multi-platform storytelling and staff members. Previously, Rosenberg was Assistant Dean, Public Affairs and Special Events at the USC Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism.

    He also served as Senior Advisor, Digital Strategies. Rosenberg has worked at the Los Angeles Times and the Annenberg Foundation, and is an award-winning author, writer, documentarian and producer of live events. He has served on a pair of Los Angeles non-profit boards.

    Also new to the LA84 Foundation in 2016 is Oscar Delgado, Director of Partnerships & Development. Delgado spent the last 10 years working for the Los Angeles Dodgers, most recently as Senior Manager of Neighborhood and Government Relations. The Los Angeles native was an NCAA division I athlete in springboard and platform diving and competed in the 2000 and 2004 World Cup of diving. He was a member of the championship team that won the 2004 US Nationals Diving team title.
