  • (1888PressRelease) November 10, 2010 - KTC Assurance & Business Advisors, Vietnam, has joined Russell Bedford International just a few months after the fast-growing CPA group appointed its first members in the Philippines and Taiwan.

    KTC is a firm of auditors, accountants and tax advisors founded in Hanoi in 2006 with the aim of serving both domestic and international clients in Vietnam and the neighbouring region. The firm has grown quickly and now has almost 50 personnel and offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

    The partners have worked for leading international consulting and accounting firms in Vietnam and overseas. In most cases they have international education and qualifications.

    Pham Duy Hung is the managing partner and in charge of audit services. Hung has more than 14 years' experience in providing services to foreign-owned enterprises, NGOs and donor-funded projects in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. He began his career in the Hanoi office of a Big-4 firm. He was then a partner in the local affiliate of a top-10 accounting group before launching KTC. Hung gained a Master of Practising Accounting degree from Monash University (Australia) and has both CPA Australia and CPA Vietnam qualifications.

    Do Thuy Linh is the partner in charge of accounting services. She has extensive experience in working with multinational organisations as a financial consultant, analyst and auditor. Before joining KTC, Linh was a senior auditor with the Hanoi office of a Big-4 firm and also spent four years as a partner in an international consulting firm. She is a qualified CPA (Vietnam) and obtained an MBA at the Graduate Business School of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

    Ngo Duc Long is the partner responsible for consulting and business advisory services. He has more than 15 years' professional experience including working for two Big-4 firms. Previously, Long was a senior advisor to the Ministry of Construction on financial planning for construction and infrastructure companies during the privatisation process. He also worked as an associate professor at the National Economics University. He is a qualified CPA (Vietnam) and has a PhD in Economics.

    Thai Van Anh joined KTC in 2009 as partner in charge of the Ho Chi Minh City office and also oversees the firm's tax and consulting practice. She has some 10 years' professional experience, including auditing in a UK office of a Big-4 firm. She has also worked in tax and assurance in Vietnam with another Big-4 firm, plus has extensive experience in different industries in financial controller positions.
