The company, based in Oak Ridge NC, aims to allow people and companies to easily send gift vouchers to people they care about. Uniquely, the gift vouchers allow the recipient to donate the voucher to one of over 6000 independently rated charities via our nonprofit partner, Network For Good.
This unique gift option transaction has all the advantages of a 100% online transaction, and avoids one of the major problems with online greeting cards that they lack sincerity and emotional "weight".

Sending a KindCard is a way of sending a sincere message with a customizable greeting card or photograph, with a gift you can be confident the recipient will appreciate and enjoy. KindCards charges a (small) fee for the service, depending on the voucher value. The transaction represents great value compared to buying a paper card and postage, and it gives the customer the ability to add their own custom message to the card. As an alternative to a card, people are increasingly using their own uploaded photographs as part of the personal message.
Since the voucher is given to charity, the card buyer can claim the voucher cost as a tax deduction. KindCards keeps 0% of the voucher value.
