  • (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2010 - The gallery program will include an inventory of the blue-chip artists' "diffusion lines", solo shows by established and emerging international artists, special SANAHUNT initiatives, e.g. works commissioned and produced by SANAHUNT, and curated group shows from partner gallery inventory.

    The advisory service features a complete - purchase to installation - art concierge service, private portrait commissions, consultations on existing collections and collecting practices, art investment advice, guidance to the world's major art fairs, city specific art tours and studio visits, and corporate art consulting.

    On 5 November 2010 the SANAHUNT GALLERY was launched with a show of DAMIEN HIRST (in collaboration with Other Criteria), the artist whose work is included in important public and private collections throughout the world. The exhibition continuing through 4 December 2010 is featuring Hirst's editioned prints, unique objects and multiples from the inventory of Other Criteria.

    In addition, the bookstore was opened within the SANAHUNT GALLERY space, where one can find a number of limited edition publications and artists books. Among the publishers represented are the world famous Steidl, Thames & Hudson, Aperture, Guggenheim Museum, MOMA, Skira, Twin Palms and Taschen. A limited amount of cult periodicals are on sale here as well - Visionaire, Fantastic Man, The Gentlewomen and Purple Fashion.

    The impressive guest list of the SANAHUNT GALLERY and DAMIEN HIRST vernissage hosted by Oksana Moroz-Hunt, the owner of SANAHUNT, included the P.S.1 and Frieze curator and art critic Neville Wakefield, singer Roisin Murphy, writer Frederic Beigbeder, the Fantastic Man editor Gert Jonkers, the Gentlewoman editor Penny Martin, designers Nicholas Kirkwood and Vika Gazinskaya, and a creme de la creme of the Ukrainian and Russian artistic, fashion, business and political elite.
