Kids and Stars Play Ball to Help Children in Need
Storm Baseball School to Host First Annual Charity Event (benefitting Children's Hunger Fund).
- (1888PressRelease) June 19, 2012 - on July 28, 2012 at 4pm at College of the Canyons' baseball field, Storm Baseball School will hold its first charity baseball game to benefit Children's Hunger Fund, a San Fernando Valley nonprofit that seeks to alleviate the suffering of children across America and around the world.
Storm players will battle retired Major League players, celebrities, and notables in an all-out American baseball brawl. Players include Randy Kutcher (former Major League player for the San Francisco Giants and Boston Red Sox), Bret Barberie (former professional infielder for the Montreal Expos and the Florida Marlins), Rene Gonzalez (former pro player for the Baltimore Orioles, California Angels and Colorado Rockies, and Dave Schmidt (former pro player for the Boston Red Sox).
11-year old Storm players will raise funds for Children's Hunger Fund and a chance of a lifetime opportunity to play in Cooperstown, the biggest tournament with teams from around the world.
The charity event is sponsored by The Gallery Los Angeles, Quintessential Marketing, and Zenify.
