Kid's Garage Drumming Workshop comes to Newtown
Who needs $10,000 instruments when you can have an orchestra of buckets? A concert band of metal canisters - a choir of broomstick poles - an ensemble of pots and pans?

Rhythm is the foundation of any good band, orchestra or musical ensemble. It has the ability to measure time, to inspire and to harness our natural instincts for pulse and musical timing in everyday life.
Anna Napier will be rejuvenating garage junk to create a workshop of loud noises and funky rhythms. All welcome, no experience necessary, just a passion for beats and working together.

Presented by All Age Music School, the Garage Drumming Workshop is designed for kids aged 7 - 12 years old and will be held on Sunday 2nd December from 11:00am - 12:30pm. Venue is at All Age Music Studios, Unit 7D, 32 Alice Street, Newtown. Entry via Walenore Ave. Cost is $30 per child (10% discount for two or more siblings). Parents will be also be entertained to a mini performance at the end of the workshop.
