Mr Ibrahim Darraz, Managing Director, KeyKiosk, stressed. "KeyKiosk is a self-service system that gives a tremendous competitive advantage to financial institutions, therefore, we have seen a phenomenal interest in these from exchange centres. Today, we live in a virtual world where consumers are embracing technology like never before. KeyKiosk is a fast, reliable, easy and smart way forward. The machine substantially reduces paper work and in turn queuing time. Security is another plus with the system sending out instant SMS notification as well as printed receipts when any transaction is carried out.

He further added, "Soon we will be launching KeyRemit that will enable customers to remit money with One Time Password (OTP) service. OTP is a password valid for only one login session or transaction and is used to secure transactions that are done through the kiosk."

KeyBS has got an aggressive expansion strategy whereby the company is looking to roll out 35 KeyKiosks by the end of April. This figure is expected to reach 140 in the next six months and 200 before the close of year.

The first KeyKiosk was installed at Al Bader Exchange in Abu Dhabi in December 2012. Mr Darraz said, "Al Bader Exchange was definitely a pioneer in this aspect. It now has KeyKiosks available across several of its branches in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain including Shabiyya Branch, Main Branch, Al Ain, Tourist Club Area, Al Bader Souq, Beda Zayed and Sanayaa Branch."

KeyKiosks have also been placed in one of the camps operated by C3 and other exchange houses such as Al Mona Exchange- Deira Branch, and Al Rasheed Exchange- Deira branch. The total number of KeyKiosks installed is 10. Mr Darraz said that: "In the next two weeks KeyKiosk will be available in three more exchange houses which are Reems Exchange, Alzari & Al Fardan Exchange and GCC Exchange."

KeyBS has quickly emerged as a significant player in the lucrative GCC market aggressively capitalizing on the region's growing demand for technology and automated payment solutions. The company provides advanced mobile, kiosk and point of sale (POS) systems and services for remittance transactions and bill payments as well as customized software and hardware tailored to boost productivity and efficiency that in turn help cut down costs.
