  • (1888PressRelease) March 17, 2011 - Kermel will attend the MILIPOL 2011 trade show, which will take place in Paris from 18 to 21 October 2011, where the specialist French-based company will showcase its various product lines, including Stretch KermelŪ.

Clothing requirements in the military and the police have evolved. Uniforms are now worn for much longer periods of times and are expected to fully optimise mobility during interventions. The elastic quality of the Stretch KermelŪ solution facilitates ease of movement and significantly reduces the friction sound that can be produced by more static fabrics.

Stretch KermelŪ's elastic property after elongation promotes very low residual deformation. A reduction in the amount of creases in clothing is a considerable advantage in avoiding snags and, therefore, accidents.

Stretch KermelŪ can be printed on, in order to meet the requirements of any type of camouflage, and is highly resistant to abrasion, thus preserving performance in terms of infrared reflection. The specialist fabric can be used to create an entire item of clothing, or simply parts thereof.

Stretch KermelŪ strikes the right balance between efficiency and safety, and helps military and police personnel to fully identify with their uniform and to make it perform like a second skin.

    About Kermel

KermelŪ fibre is also ideal as workwear in hazardous industrial environments.

Kermel will take part in the MILIPOL 2011 trade show, which will take place in Paris (France) from 18 to 21 October 2011.
