Kent Downtown Partnership to Host Holiday Sip 'n Shop On November 26 to Celebrate Small Business Saturday
In honor of Small Business Saturday, Kent Downtown Partnership is hosting its first ever Holiday Sip 'n Shop on Sat., Nov. 16, 2016 in downtown Kent, Washington.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) November 17, 2016 - Kent Downtown Partnership is excited to host its first ever Holiday Sip 'n Shop on Saturday, November 26 to celebrate Small Business Saturday. The goal is to bring shoppers to downtown Kent to visit local stores, restaurants and other small businesses while enjoying a bit of holiday cheer. The event will be similar to KDP's popular Wine Walks, but Holiday Sip 'n Shop will feature tastings from Washington-based cider and spirits vendors as well as wineries.
Eight downtown Kent businesses will serve as hosts for the event:

• Treasures
• Rusty Raven Studio
• Alleluia Catholic Store
• Running Stitch Fabrics
• Threads & Things
• Artsy Fartsy Art Lessons
Wine, cider and distillery vendors include:
• Schilling Cider
• Blackfish Distillery
• Three of Cups Winery
• Sidetrack Distillery
• Nightside Distillery
• Naches Heights Vineyard
• Michael Florentino Cellars/Gecko Cellars
• Leony's Cellars
The event will be Saturday, November 26 from 3 PM to 6 PM. Registration will begin at 2:30 PM at Down Home Catering at 211 First Avenue South, Kent. Free parking is available, including street parking, parking lots and garages throughout downtown Kent.
Tickets for the event are $20 each and give each participant a commemorative glass and eight tasting tickets to be used at each of the eight locations. All participants must be age 21 or older and must provide ID. All proceeds from the event will support Kent Downtown Partnership, a Kent, Washington-based nonprofit, in its work to revitalize and grow downtown Kent.
