  • (1888PressRelease) January 18, 2015 - Scottsdale, AZ - Finally the first ever comprehensive online winery guide hits the web connecting actively seeking consumers to wineries all around the world. Driving through small town USA? Find the nearest winery, festival, wine dinner or tasting. Planning a trip abroad? Learn and read reviews about wineries all across the globe. From large producers to garage wineries, visitors can read reviews, plan a route, take virtual tours, view photos, make winery tasting reservation requests, and find wine events all on one site. Kazzit, "The" online wine guide, provides a host of informative articles, tour descriptions, and wine advice to keep your itinerary and inbox full of information free of charge.

Recognizing the need for an all-inclusive forum for all things wine, Kazzit was created to bridge the information gap between wine producers and consumers. Still in its first year of operation, Kazzit is helping select vineyards and wineries tell their stories to an international audience of wine enthusiasts. Likewise, Kazzit readers can discover wineries and vineyards simply by searching based on location, varietals, or reviews.

Kazzit was founded by long time friends Babak Motamedi, a wine-lover and entrepreneur, and Peter Kasperski, the proprietor of Scottsdale's Kazimierz World Wine Bar and owner of one of the largest collections of fine wine in the United States. Motamedi says it was a "no brainer" collaborating with Kasperski. "To be honest I would not do anything wine related without him. Everyday working with Peter is exciting. The way ideas evolve, the way we compliment each other, it's been great fun." As for Kasperski, it is his love for the wine world. "I've been immersed in it so long; this opportunity to connect the end user to the producer on a much larger stage was a natural."

While there are other winery guides (primarily directories) on the web, nearly all of them are regional, outdated, or simply incomplete. Motamedi says they just don't encompass all that Kazzit offers. "We differ because there is nothing out there like us. Kazzit was built around the user experience; we thoughtfully built our platform to be engaging, easy to navigate, and to offer more than any other resource." Motamedi is spreading the word that there is finally a place for people to go for all things wine. "Kazzit is a place where wine lovers can find that small boutique winery, the winery run by a family, or the winery with the million dollar view from the tasting room. And we want those people to share their experiences so others can enjoy the same."
