In one year Kalista has filmed 2 features, over a dozen commercials, several short films, been a print model and landed her first lead role in the feature film Snow, a great personal success for Kalista.
She was interviewed on CelebrityDialogue.com (www.celebritydialogue.com) on April 4th 2011.
In the interview, Kalista talks about her lead role in the feature film "Snow" that follows the life of "Parvathi". Parvathi immigrates to Canada after the loss of her entire family has to adjust to a new life in an environment completely alien to her.
When asked how Kalista landed the role in Snow, she said that Meenakshi Alimchandani from Desi Resources was handling casting in Toronto since the Writer/Director, Rohan Fernando lives in Halifax. Kalista heard about the casting call from a mutual friend and decided to go for the audition.
Kalista further said that she likes to write and is an aspiring film maker.
