  • (1888PressRelease) August 10, 2010 - Nashville, TN: KA-Nine, born Kinard Agim is a Nashville based rapper and CEO of N'Somnic Eyez Entertainment. KA-Nine is single-handedly re-arranging the perception of what a disciplined, flashy, and persistent rapper has to offer. This Nashville raised, and Nigerian-rooted artist has high hopes and is aggressively declaring that he has "NEXT"!

Raised in a traditional Nigerian home, KA-Nine, born Kinard Agim, quickly learned the value of sacrifice and discipline. After his father left the home, he watched his mother work three jobs around the clock to support him and his three siblings. "…so now I grind with two jobs, while being a full-time student at Tennessee State University like it's nothing!!! I watched my Mom do it for so long without complaining. I learned first-hand how sometimes you gotta sacrifice fun and sleep to get to where you want to be."

KA-Nine's introduction to the music game was a steady and gradual one. As a teenager KA-Nine and his friends frequently fooled around with music. "Me and some of my homeboys used to just start rapping at the lunch table and having these little battles daily. Then I started looking at the industry and analyzing it more and more, 'til one day my senior year I said 'I don't care if a lot of people don't make I'm gonna pursue a rap career'".

As a youngster, KA-Nine heavily exposed himself to East-Coast hip hop; including the likes of 50-Cent, G-Unit, and Jay-Z. Although surrounded by first-rate rap representation, KA-Nine's adolescent years were far from studios and mix-tapes. KA-Nine's affinity for music was initially expressed thru Mass-Communications, which he is now studying at Tennessee State University.

In early 2009, KA-Nine debuted his artistry with his first placement on ATM Vol. 1 project. This rewarding opportunity was swiftly followed up with talent Show performances.

Today KA-Nine boldly stands out as a self proclaimed entertainer in a world of studio generated artists. KA-Nine's flavor of artistry can be best described as a hard-hitting mix of vivid descriptions, storytelling, and wild metaphors. "I make Non-Fiction music! I'm livin' what I'm speaking!"

The results of KA-Nine's hard work materialized more recently with the spring 2010 release of introduction project No Rest for the Best, hosted by Dj Crisis of FlyMajor.com, being featured in Nashville's edition of Concrete Magazine, and a nomination for a Hip Hop in the Ville Award for Best New Artist.
