    The journal is extremely privileged to have Prof. Hiroaki Satoh as its Editor-in-Chief, leading the board of academic editorial panel.     Prof. Hiroaki Satoh is currently working as Associate Professor, Department of Metabolism and Endocrinology, Graduate School of Medicine, Juntendo University, Japan. Dr. Satoh is MD from Akita University, Japan and subsequently obtained doctorate in medicine from University of Tokyo, Japan. He has nearly two decades of professional experience in the field of diabetes metabolism. His core research interests include endocrinology, metabolomics, general internal medicine and diabetic nephropathy. He is a member of core National committees and associations of nephrology, hypertension, endocrine system, atherosclerosis, diabetes and internal medicine in Japan. He has authored several International publications which were widely and frequently cited all across the world. He has multiple research grants to his credit in diabetology, lipid metabolism, insulin resistance and arteriosclerosis. He is active participant in several International conferences on diabetes metabolism.
