Josef Matulich brings Sex, Magick & Power Tools to Arcanum
Author Josef Matulich will bring his Arcanum Faire books of sex, magick, and power tools to the real-life Ohio town which inspired them for a signing at family fun and chainsaw festival.
- Dayton-Springfield, OH (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2016 - Two years ago, Josef Matulich and Post Mortem Press of Cincinnati published the first book of his Arcanum Faire series "Camp Arcanum". The story of a level-headed contractor sent to Arcanum Ohio to build a renaissance faire, it soon winds up into an off-color romp with witches, demons, and undead skinless bunnies. The second book in the series, "Power Tools in the Sacred Grove", followed the same path when published a year ago. Both have become popular items at the small press, horror, and fantasy events Post Mortem frequents. A big selling point has become those readers who originally came from western Ohio and were shocked and pleased to find a book set in the real town of Arcanum, however embroidered with occult trappings.
With this year's Arcanum Old Fashioned Days, Josef Matulich will be bringing his horror/comedy books to the town which inspired them. He promises that things in real life simply can't be as interesting as what he's written and hopes the locals maintain their sense of humor.
