  • (1888PressRelease) September 26, 2013 - Manhattan, NY - Scheduling new dates to bring his music to fans, singer songwriter Joe Taylor will be performing two dates at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and is lining up new engagements that will bring the music to stages nationwide throughout 2014.

Joe Taylor, donned by the New York Times in 2008 as the "Subway Idol" has taken his opportunity to perform in New York City's Subway System to amazing heights over the past 5 years. With the release of his full length CD titled "Anything's Possible," Joe has taken the album title to heart; proving that with effort and a great blend of melodies and song, anything IS possible for this rising star.

In 2013, Taylor has shared the stage with Rick Springfield to a grand ovation in his home of New York as well as bringing performance dates across the US, including a recent performance at the Hollywood House of Blues venue this past summer. Building upon the successful release of his 12 track CD titled "Anything's Possible," Taylor has had the song "Sweetest Tune" featured in prime time television's 'Days of Our Lives' as well as reaching the top ten on Canada's terrestrial FM radio network.

Joe's soulful voice was lent to provide backing vocals on songs recorded for fellow singer-songwriter Rick Springfield's 2013 CD titled "Songs for the End of the World" and a cavalcade of stars are noted for their inclusion in recording Taylor's CD, including bassist Matt Bissonette; an artist that has been a featured recording and performing artist and songwriter for a long list of major players in music entertainment.

In September, Taylor was celebrated with a performance in the final days of the long-standing New York City venue "The Back Fence." After 68 years of bringing talent to the stage, the club's lease expired and the venue was forced to cease operations. During the well-attended show, Joe gave his final farewell to a music hall that he has performed at dozens of times since arriving on the music scene in New York City in 2001.

Attendee Cheryl Scarpetti shared, "I've lived in Manhattan since 9-11 and the music scene has undergone many changes. One constant I've always enjoyed is seeing Joe perform in intimate settings. If you get the chance to take in a show, you should. He's just great!"

The featured performance dates at the Hard Rock Café Foxwoods are part of a four-month residency Joe has offered the casino during 2013. Friday November 29th and Friday December 27th are the last two scheduled dates to see Joe Taylor performing there in 2013.
