  • (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2013 - LOS ANGELES, CA -Two-time Emmy winner, Jimmy Lifton, was nominated for his work Thursday on Nickelodeon's powerhouse animation series, "Spongebob Squarepants" by The Academy of Arts and Sciences.

    Lifton, president of Oracle Post and the Lifton Institute (LIMS) has been honored for his work in the past. He has been nominated by Billboard Magazine for Best Independent Production of the Year, has received multiple Golden Reel nominations and won five. In 2011 he won an Emmy for his work and in 2012 he was nominated for three Emmys and picked up the award for one of them.

    Jimmy Lifton is currently co-owner of Oracle Post, one of the most prominent post-production facilities in the Los Angeles area.

    Jimmy Lifton has had a storied career. He was the apprentice to the Master Organist of the Detroit Symphony, one of the youngest alumni at Berklee College of Music, and has performed on stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder and Bob Seger. Lifton was signed to Atlantic Records, produced and directed numerous music videos as well as 16 feature films.
