    Event Synopsis:
Hackers are intruding, harassing and stealing from organizations worldwide with increasing frequency and often more devastating effects. Notwithstanding a series of technological improvements over the last decade, starting with firewalls and now including threat detection platforms powered by artificial intelligence, the attacks keep coming - and succeeding. Hackers exploit IT's inherent porousness of modern IT, leveraging it with shrewd use of publicly-available intelligence, deft impersonation and other trickery.

To defend against these now- omnipresent threats requires that organizations not only understand who the hackers are, what motivations they bring to bear and how they pursue their pernicious aims, but also why mere technology is insufficient to beat them. While some new technologies can aid in thwarting hackers, meaningful risk reduction requires a multi-pronged approach in which management adopts policies and procedures to identify vulnerable information and questionable practices and through training and vigilance - plus some hard choices - transforms the organization into a far less inviting target.

In this two hour, LIVE Webcast a panel of professionals assembled by The Knowledge Group will help the audience understand the different attack strategies used by hackers and in-depth analysis of the most effective strategies companies can undertake to protect themselves.

    Key topics include:
    -Techniques Used by Hackers
-Recent Data Security Risks and Trends
    -Security Innovations
    -Practical Tips and Strategies
