Japanese Patented Smartphone Band “Hammock’n” Targets Hand Fatigue as It Expands to Global Markets

Hammock’n attaches to a smartphone case and uses a unique, two-part construction: a base section that anchors the product to the case, and a separate soft band for the fingers. By separating support and grip in this way, the band aims to keep the phone stable without forcing users to clench their fingers tightly, similar to how a hammock supports the body.
The product employs a non-adhesive mounting method that uses the camera hole and charging port of the phone case, so it can be removed without leaving residue and reused with compatible cases. This structure has been granted a Japanese patent (Patent No. 7351074), and corresponding applications are pending in the U.S., China, and Europe.

Hammock’n is offered in several design lines to match different lifestyles, including:
