Jaguar Managing Director Mike O'Driscoll to retire on a high note
Leading Florida dealer Jaguar Merritt Island would like to announce the retirement of Mike O'Driscoll, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover, who plans to step down in March 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) November 08, 2010 - Mike first took on the Managing Director role in 2007 following Ford's announcement of its plans to sell Jaguar and Land Rover, moving to the UK in the process. He led the Jaguar brand through its sale to Tata Motors and watched over the company as the entire lineup got revamped, resulting in the award-winning XK coupe and convertible, XF sedan, and XJ flagship of the present.
Though he will return to America, Mike has agreed to continue as Chairman of Jaguar Heritage, an independent trust that manages Jaguar's museum, archives and extensive car collection globally.
