iPOP Alumni Lucas Adams Lands Role in Upcoming American Pie Film

  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) February 26, 2020 - iPOP alum Lucas Adams continues to succeed after landing a role in American Pie: Girls Rule. The film joins rank with the other American Pie Spinoffs, which includes American Pie Presents: Band Camp, American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile, American Pie Presents: Beta House, and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. The film has already wrapped and is set for a 2020 release.

    The film is being directed by Mike Elliot, but little is known of what to expect in the feature aside from its cast and initial premise. Adams will play the role of McCormick in the newest American Pie Presents installment.

    The film will center around four high school seniors who set out to make their last year of school special. Some of the other notable stars in the film will include Madison Pettis (Five Points, The Game Plan), Zachary Gordon (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Piper Curda (Youth & Consequences, I Didn’t Do It), Dylan Lawson, Natasha Benham (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Animal Kingdom), Lizzie Broadway (The Rookie, Here And Now), Cameron Engels (Malibu Rescue) and Danny Trejo (Sons of Anarchy).

    News of the iPOP Alumni’s appearance in the American Pie feature comes just after last month’s premiere of his Lifetime film, Gone Daughter Gone. In 2019, Adams also finished a successful as stint as Tripp Dalton on Days of Our Lives, after joining the Soap Opera in 2019. It was in the role that Adams was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Young Actor in a Drama Series.

    Originally from Sherman, TX, Lucas Adams landed on his path to success after attending iPOP, the LA-based bi-annual talent competition. Aside from his role on Days of Our Lives, Lucas has also appeared in Liv and Maddie, True Blood and Those Who Can’t.
